Founded by Indian embroidery house Saks India and Swedish brand incubator Bozzil, quaran-T is a fashion collaboration between international designers and Indian artisans, inspired by the world during and post Covid-19
quaran-T is a t-shirt label with the aim to support Indian artisans - also known as 'kaarigars' - and their families during and in the aftermath of the 2020 pandemic. The t-shirts feature artworks inspired by the world through the eyes of the designer, in light of Covid-19. All t-shirt designs are embroidered by Saks India. Throughout 2020, we plan to partner with a number fashion houses across the globe, for exclusive one-off designs to be sold through a lottery. quaran-T will also soon launch an exclusive collection of tees sketched by a group of anonymous fashion designers.
quaran-T will be launched in the second week of June, 2020, in a joint collaboration with Dundas World.
The brand aims to raise funds to provide support to the Mumbai kaarigar community and their families. The purpose is also to highlight and bring awareness to the talent and work of Indian artisans, who are working with prominent international brands since the early days of fashion.
quaran-T will launch a number of limited edition embellished t-shirt designs, and interested customers have a chance to win the design by participating in a lottery. Lottery tickets can be purchased by donating the specified amount through respective Ketto campaign link (accessible below each sketch). 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to a group of entrusted kaarigars who will in turn distribute the funds within their teams.
As with any lottery, the more tickets you buy - the higher your chances are of winning. [Click here] to learn all about how the lottery works!
